On October 25, 2022, Yamaha Motor Europe removed the covers from its 2023 MT-07 and MT-125. Two powerful Hyper-naked bikes will receive modestly, but experience-enhancing updates for the new year. This is more than just a new graphic.
By 2023, the Yamaha MT-07 will receive a new five-inch full-color TFT display in the European version. It comes with two different screen themes to choose from a street theme and a tourist theme. The street is described as offering a more modern, angular look, while the tourist one offers a more traditional, rounded, classic view of displaying information.
In addition, the MT-07 can now be connected to a smartphone via the Yamaha MyRIDE app. Now, by connecting it to your phone via BlueTooth, you can see notifications about incoming calls, emails, and text messages displayed on the TFT display of your MT-07.
Other changes to the 2023 MT-07 model include the fact that it now comes with pre-wired wiring for installation on a Yamaha quick-shifter, and all the necessary electronics are already installed to insert this accessory (purchased separately) and use it.
For riders looking to gain 125 cc experience, the Yamaha MT-125 2023 will also get a new five-inch full-color TFT display. Although this is the same device as the new MT-07, the version on the MT-125 has only one display theme – a street theme.
As expected, the 2023 MT-125 is also compatible with the Yamaha MyRIDE app, offering drivers BlueTooth connectivity between smartphones and bikes via the app.
“The Yamaha MT-07 and MT-125 models released in Europe in 2023 will be available in Cyan Storm, Icon Blue, or Tech Black color options. Prices and availability will vary by region across Europe.”
