Mercedes presented versions of the electric car from the AMG division in variants 43 and 53. Mercedes-AMG EQE 43 4Matic has a combined power of 476 hp. The torque remains the same: 858 Nm. Moreover, the 43rd uses the same engines as in a model other than AMG. This is enough to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds and to a maximum speed of 210 km/h.
The EQE 53 4Matic+ is equipped with AMG-specific engines. They have adapted windings, different plates, higher currents, and adapted inverters, not to mention the cooling elements characteristic of AMG and the transmission oil heat exchanger, which are necessary for maintenance. As a result, 626 hp of power, 950 Nm of torque, and a maximum speed of 220 km/h are transmitted to all four wheels.
There is a modification of the EQE 53 with the AMG Dynamic Plus package. Depending on the temperature and battery charge level, Race Start and Boost modes increase the power to 687 hp and 1000 Nm of torque. It reduces the acceleration time from 0-100 km/h to 3.5 seconds. And increases the maximum speed to 240 km/h.
“In the AMG version of the EQE model, the glossy front panel has been replaced with an artificial radiator grille with vertical chrome bars. AMG models lose the Mercedes star, which usually appears on the hood. Instead, they adopt the new AMG logo. You can find more chrome linings and trim painted in the color of the body, and the lower limbs are painted in black gloss.”
In the cabin, artificial leather with microfibre inclusions is included as standard, and Nappa leather is optional. There is a rather fussy AMG Performance steering wheel with a flat bottom, petals, and lots of buttons, switches, and displays. Carbon finish is optional, as is Hyperscreen.

Both versions of the EQE 43 and 53 have all-wheel drive and rear-wheel control as standard. The models are equipped with an AMG Ride Control+ air suspension with an adaptive damping system, which is used in both the AMG EQS and the AMG GT four-door coupe.
The AMG EQE versions use the same 90.6 kWh battery as the EQE crossover and EQE sedan. The estimated power reserve for the EQE 43 SUV ranges from 431 to 488 km, which is about 6% lower than the estimates of the EQE 500.
