Most recently, the Toyota Camry went through a planned upgrade in Japan, which should be the last before its generation change, scheduled for 2025. What the reformed 4-door will look like is still a mystery, but independent designers have already taken up pencils and demonstrated a possible design option for the Toyota D-class sedan.
The rangers of the new Toyota Camry were based on Crown family cars, presented in mid-July in several body types. In particular, the Crown Sport concept. And the result, I must say, turned out to be very impressive.
It is assumed that the Camry will switch to a new generation in 2024 or 2025. Very little is known about the car, but the Japanese press writes about a possible radical design change, which is perfectly demonstrated in the images of independent designers.
The Toyota Crown Sport Concept had the shape of a crossover sedan, but the authors of the renderers changed its proportions and design so that it more suited the body of the current Camry.
In the front of the next generation Camry, new LED headlights made in the form of lobster claws stand out, as well as an aggressive black radiator grille. The picture is crowned with glossy black wheels.
The stern largely repeats the design of the Crown Sport concept, including LED lights combined with a thin luminous strip in its equipment.
There is practically no information about the technical part of the model yet, but most likely the new Camry will retain the old GA-K architecture. Some sources claim that Toyota may increase the wheelbase of the novelty to add additional space in the cabin, but so far this is only a rumor.
As for the power units, the Japanese media claim that Toyota will abandon the 3.5-liter atmospheric V6, which will be replaced by a new 2.4-liter 4-cylinder “supercharged” engine with a capacity of about 265 horsepower and 420 Nm.
