In addition, there are metal arcs in the front and under-body protection, and a roof rack and additional diode optics were installed on the roof. Interestingly, all the new plastic parts were printed on a 3D printer.
Like the standard Volkswagen ID.4 GTX crossover, the concept car is equipped with two engines and all-wheel drive, but the power plant has been increased from 299 to 382 hp.
The suspension has been improved for off-road driving – its travel is increased. But the battery has remained standard – capacity of 82 kWh.

For now, the new Volkswagen ID. XTREME is not planned to start production. The crossover will be shown at various auto shows and may try to break off-road records. We would remind you that the standard Volkswagen ID.4 GTX managed to do so.
