Used Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta supercar has doubled in price in five years

In the USA, the 2017 Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta was auctioned by Bring a Trailer. For a limited-edition supercar, $ 5.36 million was given. The Autoevolution website writes about this.

An interesting detail: this new Ferrari supercar costs $2.6 million, that is, a five-year-old used car has doubled in price. As a rule, used cars are cheaper than new ones, but in this case, we are talking about a very rare model – only 210 convertibles were produced in total.

In addition, this Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta is like new, because in five years it has driven only 259 km. Obviously, the owner understood that the rare car would become more expensive over time, and therefore kept it in the garage and did not drive it. Complete with the machine comes all the original factory documentation.

The LaFerrari Aperta is the first Ferrari hybrid. It is equipped with a hybrid powerplant consisting of a 6.3-liter gasoline V12 and an electric motor. The total power is 963 hp, and the torque is 900 Nm.

The convertible accelerates to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and to 300 km/h in 15 seconds. Its maximum speed exceeds 350 km/h. At the heart of the car is a lightweight Carbon Fiber Monocoque, and carbon-ceramic brakes slow it down.
