Ford is preparing an update for its most popular pickup truck. The 2024 model year F-150 will get a redesigned exterior and new optional equipment. The Edmunds website posted the first pictures of the pickup during tests.

The spy shots show the updated F-150 being tested on public roads. The most important design changes were covered with camouflage.

The 2024 model year Ford F-150 will get a new hood, grille, front and rear optics, tailgate, fenders, and bumpers. The pickup will be equipped for the first time with a multipurpose tailgate, which is offered on the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and Ram 1500 models.

The dashboard and center console will also receive updates. Ford also plans to change some interior trim elements.

The redesigned Ford F-150 is expected to debut near the end of 2023. The company has not disclosed any details about the new pickup yet.
