Hennessey Performance has just unveiled the latest update to its Ford Bronco fleet, which increases the Raptor’s power by almost 20% compared to previous models. The SUV called VelociRaptor 500 Bronco develops 500 bhp.
Modified by a tuner, the preceding VelociRaptor 400 Bronco produces 411 hp from a 2.7-liter V6 engine with dual turbocharging. Meanwhile, this model uses a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine from the Bronco Raptor, as well as many other modifications to further increase power.
However, the latest Hennessey model is no better than the previous one in all respects.
Power is achieved through torque. The brand’s previous efforts have increased the torque to 813 Nm. The VelociRaptor 500 Bronco SUV develops a torque of 746 Nm. That’s decent power, and it’s more than the standard Bronco V6 generating 330 hp and 563 Nm. This is also more than the Ford Bronco Raptor with a capacity of 418 hp and 597 Nm.
“The package of improvements costs from $32,950 over the cost of the basic Ford Bronco Raptor.”
For this amount, motorists receive an improved air intake, a large-capacity intercooler with a purge valve, an upgraded engine control system, new bumpers, 18-inch alloy wheels with 10 spokes, shod in 37-inch tires, Hennessey Heritage graphics, and VelociRaptor. The 500 Bronco badge and more. The model is also covered by the Hennessey warranty for 3 years or 57,936 km.
