Toyota has officially unveiled updated versions of the Tundra and Tacoma pickups. In addition to minor exterior changes, the 2023 models have an expanded list of options.

The updated Toyota Tundra is available in the SX version, which the 2022 model year did not have. This pickup can be recognized by black door handles, black rear bumper, and tinted 18-inch wheels. The SR, SR5, Limited, Platinum, 1794, and TRD Pro trims are also available.

The smaller Toyota Tacoma is available in SR, SR5, TRD Sport, TRD Off-Road, Limited, TRD Pro, Trail Edition, and Nightshade Edition versions. The 2023 Tacoma is also available with a Chrome package, which includes chrome wheels, door handles, and an exhaust note.

There are no technical changes. Under the hood of the 2023 Toyota Tundra is the same 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 mated to a ten-speed automatic transmission. It produces 389 hp and 649 Nm of torque.

Tacoma is available with two gasoline engines: a 2.7-liter four-cylinder with 159 hp and a 3.5-liter V6 with 278 hp. Both engines are combined with a 6-speed automatic transmission. Drive is either rear or all-wheel drive, depending on the configuration.
