The popularity of Toyota Land Cruiser 300 and Lexus LX 600 SUVs with the launch turned out to be so high that their implementation was stopped several times. The Japanese car giant simply did not have time to assemble these models due to problems with the supply of components, and now it has completely closed sales.

According to the publication “Creative Trend”, the acceptance of pre-orders for the Toyota Land Cruiser 300, as well as Lexus LX 600 and NX models has been stopped until mid-2023.

Toyota claims that they can resume collecting applications for popular models of their own and related Lexus brand if they solve problems with the supply of parts, but before that, in any case, they will have to fulfill their obligations to customers who have placed orders before July 1, 2022.

With the Lexus LX 600 debuting in early 2022, the situation is particularly tense. In Japan alone, dealers have collected about 6 thousand applications for the purchase of this model, but in reality, this figure may be even higher. Almost immediately after the premiere of the SUV, information appeared in the press that the queue for the LX 600 stretched for 4 years.

The process of acquiring a new generation of Lexus LX SUV can also not be called simple. Buyers are forced not only to sign the main contract, which stipulates the possibility of increasing the price of the car by the time of its delivery, but also an additional agreement prohibiting the resale of the car within a year from the date of purchase. Toyota introduced a similar protective measure when launching the Land Cruiser 300.

In light of all these events, the probability that the new generation of the Lexus RX crossover will go on sale on time (until the end of 2022) looks extremely low.
