Chinese motorcycle manufacturer Xiang Shuai has introduced a new model of the cruiser: the Cangyun XS500. Stylistically, the novelty is very similar to the Honda Rebel, but technically, of course, it is a completely different motorcycle.
Xiang Shuai Cangyun XS500 is equipped with a 500 cc inline “two” Loncin KE500, familiar to us from Vogue motorcycles. The maximum power is stated at the level of 48 hp, the peak torque of 43 Nm is quite enough for a motorcycle with a curb (!) weight of about 195 kg. Also, the XS500 differs from the Honda with a larger fuel tank and a much larger ground clearance: 180 mm versus 125 mm for the Japanese.
The recommended retail price of Xiang Shuai Cangyun XS500 in China is 28,800 yuan. It is not yet known whether Xiang Shuai will sell its cruise ship outside of China.
