There was a huge queue for the Mahindra Scorpio-N model from those who wanted to buy it — only in 1 minute from the moment of the announcement of the start of receiving pre-orders, the car was booked 25 thousand times. After another 29 minutes, this number has grown to 100 thousand.
Such a shaft of applications is explained by the announcement of the manufacturer. Cars from the first batches will cost less than those ordered later. Translated into rubles, the SUV is estimated in India in the amount of 900 thousand to 1.5 million.
Mahindra assured us that the failure did not prevent the registration of all applications. The electronic system marked the time of each of them, so those who managed to be the first to receive the promised discounts. The first 25,000 cars will be sold at discounted prices.

Recall that Mahindra Scorpio-N is noticeably larger than its predecessor. The length increased by 206 mm (up to 4662 mm), and the width reached 97 mm (up to 1917 mm). The height, on the contrary, decreased by 125 mm (to 1857 mm). The wheelbase was stretched from 2680 mm to 2750 mm. The diameter of the wheels is 17 or 18 inches.
The Mahindra Scorpio-N was based on a new frame platform, although the chassis architecture remained the same: an independent two—lever suspension is located in the front, an uncut spring bridge is located in the rear, to which a Watt mechanism was added. The new model is equipped with amplitude-dependent shock absorbers, as well as disc brakes on all wheels.
