India has announced the launch of the RC390 GP edition in the Indian market. This new variant includes style updates in the form of a livery like that of the KTM RC 16 MotoGP motorcycle. Everything else, including the price indicated in the showroom, remains identical to the standard version of the motorcycle.
With the addition of the GP version, the KTM RC390 is now available in three colors – KTM Factory Racing Blue, KTM Electronic Orange, and GP edition. In the new version of GP, Electronic Orange is used as the base paint. However, this new version has an orange trim on the rear panel and special stickers on the fairing and front fender.
The design, characteristics, and mechanical characteristics remain identical for all versions. Thus, the RC390 line still uses fully LED lighting, a color TFT display with Bluetooth support, a traction control system, ABS cornering, and a quick gearshift function.
The motorcycle is equipped with a BS6-compatible 373 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine with a volume of 373 ccs. cm, which produces 42.9 hp at 9000 rpm and a maximum torque of 37 Nm at 7000 rpm.
“In the Indian market, the KTM RC390 competes with models such as the BMW G 310 RR and Apache RR 310 TVs. Orders for the new GP edition have started all over the country and deliveries should start very soon.”
