The Mini Cooper SE convertible is the only instance that will be demonstrated at a special event in the USA. Mini then turned to Cooper SE for a convertible transmission. Thus, it is driven by an electric motor with a recoil of 181 hp and a battery with a capacity of 32.6 kWh. The automaker made a statement that it is capable of gaining speed to accelerate to 100 km / h in 7.7 seconds. This is slightly slower than the 6.9 seconds that the Cooper SE, available for purchase, spends. The Mipiyu Brand notes that it will cover up to 230 km without the need for recharging.
“The textile soft top of the Cooper SE convertible is fully electric, it can be opened and closed in less than 18 seconds at speeds up to 30 km/h. The unique model will be presented to the public at the Mini Takes the States event, a nine-day tour currently taking place in South Carolina.

Mini did not say whether the Cooper SE Convertible will produce a production model.
