The exterior of the unique coupe Bentley Mulliner Batur has been revealed before the premiere. Pictures taken by Bentley press service have been published on social networks: the images are low quality, but the key design features are no longer a secret. Technically, the Batur coupe is largely unified with the Continental GT, but the example of this two-door Bentley will show a new brand identity.
In terms of form factor, the Bentley Batur is similar to the original Continental GT coupe, but the body is completely different – the difference can be seen if you pay attention to the glazing line, door, and fender notches. The Bentley’s signature round headlights will be abandoned as it has teardrop-shaped optics with ‘eyelashes’ for daytime running lights.
Other unusual design elements include an almost vertical nose, rectangular grille, and tricky five-spoke light alloy wheels with a directional pattern.
According to unofficial data, the Bentley Batur will be released in 25 copies, and the price of the coupe will start at around 2.5 million euros. Under the hood will remain a 6.0-liter W12 engine, but the output of the turbo-motor will be increased to a record mark.
