The appearance of the BMW i7 – “the first electric luxury sedan in the world” has been revealed in the network. As expected, electric “seven” has received the design of the front mask in the style of restyled X7 presented a day before. The optics are now two-story, with “eyelashes” of running lights and turn signals at the top and main matrix headlights at the bottom.
The trend for two-story front lighting equipment was set by last year’s BMW Concept XM. The restyled X7 and based on it Alpina XB7 has picked up the stylistics, and soon the electric “seven” i7 will receive an extravagant appearance. It has already been shown in teasers, but now there is a screenshot from the official BMW website, showing the car in daylight.
As expected, the optics are now divided into two levels: on the top – running lights with crystal elements, a little lower – the main modules, most likely matrix ones. Huge “nostrils” are illuminated along the contour. On the edges of the bumper, you can see the slits of the Air Curtain air flaps, which reduce air resistance by optimizing the flows around the wheels.
It is known that i7 will be equipped with OS 8.0 media complex with artificial intelligence and BMW Curved Display, BMW Interaction Bar with backlight and integrated control buttons, as well as a newly designed panoramic Sky Lounge roof and 31-inch wide BMW Theatre Screen with Bowers & Wilkins Diamond Surround Sound system.
Presumably, the i7 will have at least two modifications, with two or even three electric motors. The power output of the most powerful electric car will exceed 650 horsepower. It already has an official driving range of 580-610 km with the European WLTP or 305 miles with the American EPA.
