Tesla Cybertruck was filmed using a drone 1

The network published a video taken from a drone flying over the parking lot of the Tesla car factory in Fremont. In addition to various cars parked on the territory of the enterprise, the drone operator’s attention was attracted by a prototype of an electric Cybertruck pickup truck, near which the company’s specialists were working. The commentators of the video noticed some features of the model that distinguish it from the electric pickup presented by Elon Musk in 2019.

The electric pickup in the video lacks a huge wiper blade, which the model received last year. This is probably one of the Cybertruck prototypes that they continue to refine. This is confirmed by the actions of the company’s employees, who connect various sensors with the electric car right during the shooting. Another feature of the captured machine is its size. The prototype spotted by the drone seems much smaller than the electric pickup presented by the head of Tesla three years ago.

Since 2019, the serial production of the Tesla Cybertruck has been postponed several times. At the same time, over the past year, photos and videos with different modifications of the electric pickup appeared on the Network sometimes. Despite the difficulties with production, last year the total amount of Cybertruck pre-orders reached $80 billion. It is expected that the serial production of the model will begin in 2023.

At the beginning of February, a tuning kit was developed for Tesla Cybertruck, which allows an electric pickup to move on water. The package of improvements essentially turned the electric car into a catamaran.
