Tesla Cybertruck is getting closer and closer to production. The day before, an electric pickup truck was spotted on a test track at the Tesla plant in Fremont.
The pickup can be seen with side-view sports mirrors, as well as with a unique wiper on the side of the windshield. The car was deprived of aerodynamic wheel caps.
Another change compared to the original shape of the pickup truck includes more rounded edges to meet pedestrian safety requirements. Judging by the spy photos, the prototype is racing along the highway at a decent speed, which corresponds to Tesla’s original goal of making the Cybertruck a pickup truck whose performance is not inferior to some sports cars.
“After several delays, the production of the Cybertruck electric car will begin by the end of 2023. Although the initial launch forecast refers to 2021. The initial Cybertruck promised some pretty enticing features.”
But since the brand announced it, other impressive cars, such as the Ford F-150 Lightning, GMC Hummer EV, Rivian R1T, and Chevy Silverado EV, have either already entered the market or will arrive earlier than the futuristic Tesla novelty. Many of these pickups offer many of the same technical specifications.
