Chinese brand Voyah, a part of the state corporation Dongfeng Motor, has started sales of the Dreamer model, which made its debut in autumn 2021 at the motor show in Guangzhou. The developers are positioning the car as the fastest minivan in the world.

The Voyah Dreamer is available in both all-electric and hybrid versions. In the first case, the car is equipped with two electric motors that develop a total of 435 hp and 620 Nm of torque. The minivan can accelerate from a standing start to a “hundred” in 5,9 seconds and its maximum speed is 200 km/h.

In the hybrid version, a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine works together with a pair of electric motors with a total output of 394 horsepower. The turbocharged engine is used exclusively as a generator to charge the batteries. Such a minivan can travel up to 700 kilometers on a single charge.

As for the exterior, the Voyah Dreamer has the typical dimensions and proportions of a traditional large single-volume like the Toyota Sienna. The distinctive design feature is a huge radiator grille with vertical slats, occupying about 80% of the front of the car.

The interior has three large displays on the minivan’s front panel. Separate seats, covered with leather, have heating, cooling, and massage functions.

In China, prices for the new Voyah Dreamer range from 380,000 to 600,000 yuan (about $59,700 to $95,200). The first cars will reach customers in July 2022.
