Rockot Motors begins sales of the versatile Rockot Hound 250 motorcycle, approved for use on public roads.
This versatile motorcycle is a mix of Naked, Enduro, and Supermoto. It’s equipped with a 17-hp, 223cc four-stroke engine mated to a 5-speed transmission. The maximum speed of the Rockot Hound 250 is 110 km/h. The PZ30 carburetor is responsible for the formation of the fuel-air mixture. Fuel consumption of the Rockot Hound 250 in the mixed mode is about 4 liters. The 13-liter fuel tank provides an operating range of up to 300 km.
The engine is mounted in a classic steel frame, with a non-adjustable 37-millimeter “shifter” at the front with 180 mm of travel, and a mono-shock absorber connected to the swingarm through a progression lever system at the rear. Light-alloy 17-inch wheels are shod in 4.6-inch wide universal tires in the front and 5.1 inches in the rear. The brakes are disc-based, with the front dual-piston caliper paired with a 270-millimeter disc and the rear single-piston with a 220-millimeter disc.
Ground clearance at Rockot Hound is serious, 260 mm, therefore driving down a curb or a difficult relief out of asphalt will not become an obstacle. But the height of the seat is rather small, only 820 mm, so even the owners of below-average height will feel comfortable.
Rockot Hound 250 is available in three colors: green, red, and orange.
