German tuners from Renntech atelier have presented supposedly the most powerful variant of the Mercedes-AMG GT coupe in the world. The modification was built on the basis of the Black Series version.

It received an aerodynamic carbon fiber body kit and spectacular forged wheels. A safety frame appeared in her cabin. However, the main feature of the car is still a seriously boosted engine.

Recall that from the factory the model is equipped with a 4.0-liter V8 engine with two turbines, which produces 734 hp (850 Nm) on the most powerful (track) version.

However, the workshop specialists managed to bring the unit’s output to an impressive 1,066 forces and 1,127 Nm of torque.

It is reported that in the process of improvements, the engine received a new boost system and another control unit. In addition, the coupe was equipped with a high-performance exhaust system.

The two-door modified in this way is able to “shoot” from a place to a hundred in about 3.0 seconds (- 0.2 seconds compared to a donor car). It can be accelerated up to 352 km/h (+ 27). But the cost of tuning is not specified.

Although Renntech specialists position the novelty as the most powerful version of the AMG GT in the world, this is not entirely true. Back in March of the twenty-first, this title was staked out by the Opus Automotive studio, which brought the return of the model’s engine to 1,111 “horses”.
