The new product renderers were provided by the NY Mammoth team. The new Grandeur, codenamed GN7, is expected to be released in the summer.
Thanks to insiders, we know that Hyundai is going to design a car in the Grandeur style of the first generation. This means that the novelty will combine retro and futuristic design together with the most modern technologies.
With the change of generation, there will be no familiar buttons in the sedan cabin – they will be replaced by non-touch buttons. The length of the car will grow to 5015 mm from 4930 mm. The rear seats can be reclined if desired, and the gearbox selector is designed in the style of an electric IONIQ.
The front part of the car will be made in the spirit of Staria / Telluride (this means that it will have vertical headlights).
A key feature of the new generation Grandeur will be a special roof, like that of Mercedes-Benz. It will be able to block light and heat or become transparent, depending on the driver’s preferences.
“The novelty will borrow the motor range from the K8 platform.”
The latter got four gasoline engines: 2.5-liter and 3.5-liter GDI, 3.5-liter LPG, and 1.6 Turbo Hybrid.

The Grandeur will receive a five-seat cabin configuration, as well as a four-seat top-end version with separate rear seats. Hyundai luxury sedan of the new generation will be on sale in the 3rd quarter of next year.
