The first teaser of the new generation Mercedes-Benz GLC has been published. The crossover is to be presented on June 1, and its sales will start at the end of the year. Details about the future model have been revealed on the official website of the German brand.
New Mercedes-Benz GLC was previously seen only in camouflage during tests. Now the rear end design of the crossover has been declassified. Judging by the teaser, the car will be more elegant in appearance and will resemble the older brother Mercedes GLE.

It also became known that the Mercedes-Benz GLC crossover is built on a modern MRA platform and will increase in size – up to 4718 mm in length with a wheelbase of 2890 mm. The car will become more spacious, and the volume of its trunk will increase to 600 liters. Pneumatic suspension and steering rear wheels will be offered for an extra charge.
Inside the crossover will appear a 12.3-inch virtual dashboard and an enlarged 11.9-inch touchscreen multimedia display. The interior will be designed in the spirit of the sister sedan Mercedes-Benz C-Class, built on the same platform.
In addition, it is declared that initially absolutely all Mercedes-Benz GLC 2023 will be hybrid. Gasoline and diesel 2.0-liter and 3.0-liter turbo engines will be added to the 48-volt hybrid unit. The sporty Mercedes-AMG GLC43 will be equipped with a 408-horsepower turbo-four.
Mercedes-Benz GLC plug-in hybrids are expected in the range – there will be three such models at once. In 2023, there will be an electric version of the EQC.
