The premiere, which TVS Motor Company informed in advance, took place. Alas, the long-awaited Zeppelin R cruiser was not destined to be seen. But the Indian company showed an equally interesting novelty – the TVS Ronin 225 scrambler. Fascinating thanks to both the style and the price.
TVS Ronin is equipped with a 225 cc single-cylinder engine that develops a maximum power of 20 hp. An inverted fork is installed in front of the motorcycle, and a mono amortize with adjustment of the degree of pretension of the spring is installed in the rear. Disc brakes, front — with a two-piston caliper.
Despite the fact that TVS Ronin is a representative of the class of low-budget devices, the level of equipment is surprising. A slip clutch is included as standard, as well as the ability to choose one of two modes of operation of the anti-lock braking system: Road or Rain. The motorcycle is equipped with fully LED optics and a digital dashboard with the ability to connect a smartphone via its own TVS SmartXonnect Bluetooth module.
At the same time, the price of TVS Ronin is at a very attractive level. The basic version costs 149,000 rupees, the two-tone version will cost a little more. The top-end version with a three-color coloring will cost 168,000 rupees.
