A new Exeed AtlantiX has been presented in China. The crossover from Chery premium division is still a concept car, but on November 18 will start its production. This is reported on the official website of the brand.
The Exeed brand was created by Chery in 2018 with a focus on Europe. Now its lineup has three models, but in the near future, there will be nine more – four gasoline cars, three hybrids, and two electric cars. The Exeed AtlantiX will be the first in this family and will cost about $35,000 in the base version.
The new Chery Exeed AtlantiX features a swift profile with a high window line and a large angle of slope of the rear roof pillars. The front end with diode lighting looks original.
There are four separate seats in the cabin. The trim combines expensive cloth and natural wood.
The crossover will be offered in two versions, and its motors are familiar to other models of the brand. Petrol Exeed AtlantiX will get a 2,0-liter turbo engine with 261 hp and 8-speed automatic transmission. The drive can be front or all-wheel drive.
In the rechargeable hybrid, the 1.5-liter turbo four works with two electric motors. Total output is 326 hp and torque is 510 N?m. This Exeed AtlantiX will be able to accelerate to 100 km/h in about 5 seconds and drive about 100 km on electric power. In this case, the drive is exclusively all-wheel drive.
