Official photos, as well as some characteristics of the 2023 BMW X1 crossover of the new generation, have leaked to the network. So, a series of images of the car, which will be available with both traditional internal combustion engines and electrified power plants, was posted by the Autoevolution portal. The premiere of the new product should take place on June 1.

Judging by the pictures, the BMW X1 will receive an enlarged radiator grille with vertical slats, new bumpers, a raised hood, and front optics in the style of a restyled BMW 3-Series. At the same time, the electric version of the crossover is equipped with special blue inserts on the body.

A large display will appear in the car’s interior, which combines a 10.24-inch dashboard and a 10.7-inch multimedia system screen. Instead of the traditional gearbox lever, the car has a small transmission control selector. Also, the novelty is equipped with a multi-steering wheel, as well as leather seats with a massage function. The volume of the luggage compartment is 540 liters, with the rear seats folded, this indicator grows to 1600 liters.

The line of X1 engines of the third generation will be represented by four-cylinder gasoline and diesel units, the most powerful of which will develop 306 horsepower. The crossover will also receive a fifth-generation eDrive powerplant, which will include two electric motors with a total capacity of 271 horsepower. They will be located on each of the axles and will provide constant all-wheel drive. According to preliminary data, the crossover will be able to travel up to 440 km without recharging.
