Lucid Motors has unveiled its new Air Grand Touring Performance electric sedan, which has become the brand’s most powerful and fastest model.
American company Lucid Motors has presented a new electric sedan Air Grand Touring Performance, which became the most powerful car in the brand’s lineup. The novelty will replace the previous “senior” model Air Dream Edition Performance, the circulation of which at the moment is already sold out.
The big sedan is equipped with two electric motors, developing a total of 1,065 horsepower, due to which the car can accelerate from a place up to 60 miles per hour in 2.6 seconds.
The engines are powered by a 900-volt, 113-kilowatt-hour battery, which allows up to 718 kilometers without recharging. With a special 350-kilowatt fast system, it takes about 20 minutes to replenish the batteries from zero to 75 percent.
Standard equipment on the Lucid Air Grand Touring Performance includes a panoramic sunroof, a 34-inch 5K infotainment display, massaging seats, and more than 30 different advanced electronic safety systems.
In the U.S. and Canada, sales of cars will begin this year. The luxury electric sedan will cost at least $179 thousand.
