However, its wording was rather vague. It is unclear whether Semi has already begun to be released, or is just being prepared.
PepsiCo will be the first to receive the trucks, as was reported last year. It is she who is today considered one of the largest customers of Tesla battery tractors. According to Bloomberg, the carbonated drinks manufacturer expects to receive about 15 Semi by the end of this year.
In his post, Musk mentioned that the power reserve of the Tesla Semi is 805 kilometers on a single charge, and it’s a lot of fun to drive it. A lot of fans of the brand gathered in the comments, who literally flooded Elon with questions, but he did not answer any of them.
It is still unclear where the first production Semi trucks will be produced. Tesla has been manufacturing Semi prototypes near its Nevada plant, but mass production of the car is expected to be carried out by a new facility in Texas.
