The German tuning studio Mansory has made a name for itself on the complex and is quite insane, at least from the point of view of design, and refinement of cars. Kourosh Mansory’s creations are famous for the variety of complex elements, radical color solutions, and unusual combinations of materials. It is all the more surprising to see the ultra-modest by the standards of Mansory tuning of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class sedan of the W223 generation, which absolutely does not look like a product of an outrageous atelier.
The black sedan received a modest carbon fiber body kit, which practically does not stand out from the general background. The decor elements are made of unpainted carbon fiber and complemented with orange accents. Branded 22-inch V.6 wheels are combined with orange brake calipers.
As a basis, the car in the S 580 version was taken, equipped with a 4.0-liter V8 gasoline turbo engine with a capacity of 503 horsepower, which is supplemented by a 48-volt 22-horsepower EQ Boost starter generator that helps with acceleration. The power plant is combined with a 9-speed automatic transmission.
By Mansory forces, through small improvements — it turned out to be enough to reconfigure the engine control unit and install a new exhaust system — the output of the internal combustion engine was increased by 92 forces and thereby turning the S 580 into a competitor to the flagship S 680 modifications with a 612-horsepower 6-liter V12.
