The German atelier Manhart presented its next project, which was based on the Porsche Cayenne Coupe crossover. Taking the basic version of the model, car modification specialists prepared such a set of novelties that the coupe crossover that passed through their hands became more powerful even than the flagship Cayenne Turbo GT variant with a 4.0-liter V8 turbo engine boosted to 640 horsepower. Porsche calls the Cayenne Turbo GT the fastest crossover on the planet, but the Manhart model may not be faster, but it’s certainly more powerful.
The new Manhart Motronic control unit combined with a pair of more productive turbochargers, a new intercooler, and a sports exhaust system allowed to increase the engine output to 807 horsepower and 1090 newton meters.
This is 255 horsepower and 320-newton meters more than a standard coupe crossover.
An 8-speed automatic transmission has also been modified, which is being strengthened for a fairly increased thrust. The CRT 800, as the modified Manhart coupe crossover is called, has a 35 mm reduced ground clearance and 22-inch wheels.
The body kit is not ready yet, but the tuning studio promises in the near future to show a set of carbon fiber parts for the car developed in-house. But branded stickers for the body are already available for purchase.
