The “daughter” of Harley-Davidson, focused exclusively on the production of electric motorcycles, introduced a new Del Mar model. More precisely, even the Launch Edition of the new model: this motorcycle will be released in an amount of only 100 copies and will be a harbinger of the appearance of the serial electric bike Del Mar.

The Launch Edition (and not the Limited Edition, as we suggested earlier) will receive an exclusive Jasper Grey or Comet Indigo coloring and a special design of 19-inch wheels shod in Dunlop DT1 tires. According to LiveWire, the motorcycle is painted entirely by hand and takes five days.
LiveWire Del Mar is built on the S2 Arrow modular platform, which includes a 59.6 kW (80 hp) engine, a battery, a patented control, and a charging system. The motorcycle’s weight is 199.5 kg — agree, it is quite modest for a “battery on wheels”. As a result, there is a good acceleration dynamics, about 3.5 seconds to “hundreds”, and a power reserve of about 160 km in urban mode.

All 100 motorcycles of the first batch will be ready in about a year — buyers who have now pre-ordered at the recommended retail price of $17,699 will receive them in 2023. Serial production of S2 Del Mar electric flat trackers will start immediately after the Launch Edition, while the price tag will be noticeably lower – only $15,000.
