The Lexus NX crossover underwent a difficult maneuver at a speed of 75 km / h, while 77 km/h and above is considered a good result. The test driver noted pronounced understeer, due to which the car could not stay on the correct trajectory and constantly knocked down the cones. In addition, the car’s stabilization system intervenes very roughly and slows down the speed of the crossover too much.

It should be noted that a 244-horsepower hybrid version of the Lexus NX350h weighing 1850 kg took part in the test. The petrol version is lighter and obviously more maneuverable.

Recall that the moose test is a maneuver to bypass an obstacle that suddenly appeared on the road. It was named so because, in Sweden, where the test was invented, moose and deer often run out on the road.

By the way, the elk test was recently passed by a car of the same class Kia Sportage and its result was much better. The record-holder among crossovers is the Tesla Model Y.
