Tuning studio VB, created by the former chief test pilot of Lamborghini Valentino Balboni, presented another project that is addressed to the owners of the 640-horsepower Lamborghini Huracan STO coupe. For owners of the Italian supercar, VB specialists have developed a lightweight exhaust system that allows you to reduce the weight of the car. No increase in engine power has been announced, but it is reported that the exhaust gas flow in the new system is optimized compared to the factory version.

The mass of the exhaust system is only 6.45 kilograms due to the use of two light metals in the design: the exhaust system itself is made of titanium, and the bellows are made of Inconel. It is difficult to weld these two metals together, but Balboni found a way out due to the special design of the exhaust.

The system is welded using argon arc welding (TIG), which ensures maximum seam quality, and the technologies used in the design of jet engines have made it possible to optimize exhaust gas flows.

At the same time, the system, which the author himself calls “the most complex and fascinating in development”, is installed completely in regular places. The circulation of the exhaust system for the Huracan STO will be limited to 40 copies, but additionally, Valentino Balboni will release another 20 systems in the Valentino Signature Edition — on such an exhaust will indicate the name of the owner of the car and other data as desired by the client.
