The first photos of the Kia EV9 have appeared on the Internet. A large electric crossover was filmed during tests. It is being tested in Belgium, Germany, and South Korea and should be presented in 2024. It is reported by the Carscoops website.
A new Kia EV9 will be the flagship of an electric lineup of the Korean brand. The seven-seat crossover is planned to be sold in Europe, Asia, and America.
Kia EV9 electric car is covered with camouflage, although its angular design can be seen. The production model only differs in some details from the concept car shown last year.
In particular, the diode headlights of the car became larger, and swinging doors were abandoned. Instead of side cameras, they installed the usual rearview mirrors.
It is known that the new Kia EV9 will be a close relative of the Hyundai Ioniq 7 – both crossovers will be built on the electric platform E-GMP. The EV9 will be 4.93 meters long and have a wheelbase of 3.1 meters.
The Kia EV9 electric crossover will get two motors and an all-wheel drive. Its range will exceed 480 km, and it will be possible to recharge the battery in a fast mode in half an hour.
