Famous racer Ken Block posted a video showing a new specification of the Ram truck, which sounds and looks like the most powerful TRX. In the video, the car, which will be shown on June 7, effectively drives through sandy terrain.
Rally racing professional Ken Block posted a teaser video on his social networks announcing the new Ram pickup specification, which will debut next week. Block made it clear that the car will be shown next Tuesday. The RAM company itself retweeted the Block’s post – there was only a smiley face in the message, without any other information.
We don’t see much, but it looks like it’s a Ram 1500 TRX truck. The exhaust sound that can be heard in the video also suggests that this is exactly the most high-performance version of the pickup truck. You can even hear the squeal of the supercharger, which can be heard along with the hoarse sounds of the powerful V8. However, in addition to this, the video keeps other secrets about the truck.
Block himself says that he happened to experience the “newest toy” Ram in the desert. We will allegedly learn more about the “dirty adventures” of the Block when the official presentation of the car takes place.
Another clear sign that it could be a TRX is the hood with a massive bulge surrounded by air vents. The video also shows a large hood air intake, which makes us wonder what exactly Ram planned.
The Ram 1500 TRX is already a capable SUV and a strong contender for the Ford F-150 Raptor. Ram not only squeezed the Hellcat V8 under the hood but also upgraded the suspension, adding a wider track, adaptive Bilstein shock absorbers, new springs, and more.
