Despite the global trends of abandoning high-powered four-cylinder inline engines (the same Yamaha discontinued the legendary R6 at the end of 2020) and the transition to “vegetable” inline “2”, Kawasaki continues to go its own way. Kawasaki ZX-6R, aka Ninja, remains in the company’s production program in 2023!
The “green” Sportbike will continue to be equipped with a 636 cc inline “4”, developing maximum power of more than 125 hp. Agree, that this value does not make the slightest sense to compare with the power indicators of modern imitations of sportbikes: the same “revived” Yamaha YZF-R7 boasts only 74 “horses”.

The engine is placed in an aluminum diagonal frame, and the “shifter” and the Showa mono amortized will allow the rider to adjust the work of the suspensions as accurately as possible for both the track and the city. The brakes are Nissin radial four-piston “monoblocks”, paired with 310 mm discs. The level of the electronic filling “Ninja” corresponds to the capabilities of the motor and chassis: power mode selection, customizable traction control, ABS, quick-shifter…

And now the most interesting thing is the price. In the US market, the Kawasaki ZX-6R Sportbike will be sold for $ 10,699.
