The Versus line from Kawasaki claimed its rights to the tourist segment in 2007, and it seems that it will not go anywhere in the near future. By 2023, the “Universal System” Team Green will appear in a new guise.

Kawasaki Europe divides its Versys 1000 model range into a basic model, a complete set of S, and a top-end SE. A 16-valve in-line DOHC liquid-cooled engine is installed in all “travelers”.

Even the standard model received cruise control, power modes, traction control, ABS, and slipper/assist clutch. The Sporty S trim accelerates thanks to a bidirectional speed switch and associated traction and power control modes.

Heated handles and handguards withstand a cold front, and the TFT dashboard is able to raise ADV. The SE variant is built on a solid foundation with a Showa suspension with electronic damping and Skyhook leveling technology. Kawasaki also offers Versys Tourer Plus and Grand Tourer packages on all three trim levels.

In the mid-size class, the Versys 650 always outweighs it in weight. The TFT display, Bluetooth connection, and LED backlight emphasize the technical equipment, and the windshield protects the driver from the weather. In addition to the basic configuration, Team Green also offers Urban, Tourer, Grand Tourer, and Grand Tourer Plus versions.

The 2023 Versys 1000 is available in Matt metallic gray Graphensteel/black with a metallic sheen, while the S and SE versions get the colors Sovereign Red/black and Emerald Green/black – all with a metallic sheen.
