The Indian division of Jeep has prepared a special edition of Jeep Compass 5th Anniversary Edition specifically for the local market in honor of the fifth anniversary of Compass production in India.
The second—generation Compass is the first Jeep localized in India. The model appeared here in 2017 and received a facelift in 2021 along with the rest of the world. The new 5th Anniversary Edition boasts an exclusive “anniversary” decor, among which is a special nameplate on the luggage door.
The SUV gets special 18-inch alloy wheels with all-season tires. In addition, he has a plastic body kit in the color of the body with silver inserts, and the radiator grille, roof, rails, and mirrors are in black.
The interior of the car is dominated by dark trim with black leather upholstery, black details, and metal accents. The list of available options includes a 10.1-inch multimedia touchscreen with many connection functions, a 7-inch virtual instrument panel, an electric driver’s seat in eight directions at once, and a panoramic sunroof.
“As expected, no mechanical changes. This means that the Jeep Compass 5th Anniversary Edition is offered with either a 1.4-liter turbocharged Fire gasoline engine with 161 or 168 hp.”
The latter is also available in a 4×4 version in combination with 9ACPP. Compass for India is available exclusively in a modification with an internal combustion engine, unlike Europe, which receives options with a soft hybrid and a plug-in hybrid.
