
Italian company Energica Motor Company has presented its new electric motorcycle Experia. At the moment it is the most “long-range” electric motorcycle in the world. Details of the novelty have been disclosed on the official website of the company manufacturer.

A touring electric motorcycle Energica Experia has a record range of 256 km in the mixed cycle and 420 km – for pure city driving. No other production model is capable of such a feat.
This result was achieved by installing a large 22.5 kW∙h lithium-ion battery. In fast mode, it can be charged to 80% in 40 minutes.

Experia electric motor develops 102 hp and 115 N?m. With it, the 260 kg bike can reach 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds and its top speed is limited to 180 km/h.
The new Energica Experia looks no different from traditional touring bikes with petrol engines. It has an adjustable windshield and three large luggage boxes with a total volume of 112 liters installed in the back.

Other equipment includes a digital display and traction control. There are also four different driving modes and three levels of regenerative braking.
The Energica Experia is already available for order. The electric motorcycle is available for purchase starting at $25,880.
