The infamous cargo ship Felicity Ace, which sank near the Azores on March 1, 2022, is currently at a depth of over three kilometers. Together with the ship to the bottom went about four thousand cars. Basically, the ship carried products of Volkswagen concern, including models of Porsche, Bentley, and Lamborghini. In addition, several truly unique cars did not reach their owners.
According to official documents, there were 85 Lamborghini supercars, including 15 Aventador farewell specials, 20 Huracan, and fifty Urus on board the cargo ship. Audi lost 846 cars as a result of the fire, Porsche lost 580. In addition, 190 Bentley went down. At the same time, the British brand produced only 14,659 cars last year.
In addition, the ship carried a Kia Soul, Mini Countryman, Nissan Versa Note, and other cars, including, for example, a 1977 Land Rover Santana, a 15-year-old BMW 750i, as well as the 65th copy of the Honda Prelude SiR, which has not been produced for decades.
In mid-March, Lamborghini, Bentley, and Audi said they would produce replacements for the cars sunk in the Felicity Ace freighter. Experts estimated the total damage caused by the fire at 400 million euros.
