In the USA, a 79-year-old man sneaked into a car dealership parking lot at night and set fire to cars. Thus, he decided to take revenge for the car sold to him with a defect. This is reported on the official page of the O’Daniel Automotive Group dealership.
The incident occurred in Fort Wayne (Indiana). Pensioner Dewey Frederick sneaked into the territory of a used car dealership at night, set fire to signal fire, and shoved it into the neck of a Jeep Compass gas tank.
The crossover broke out, and soon the fire spread to two other cars – GMC Acadia and Jeep Grand Cherokee. The elderly American did not stop there and threw another fire into the interior of the Pontiac Solstice convertible.
It turned out that the American bought a Jeep SUV in this dealership back in 1986. Over time, an engine defect was found in the car, but the dealer did not want to eliminate it. And 36 years later, the buyer decided to take revenge on the seller.
