Hyundai has revealed the characteristics of the Ioniq 6 electric car. It will receive two batteries to choose from, versions with rear and all-wheel drive, as well as an EV Performance Tune-up system that allows fine-tuning the operation of the electric drive. The top-end version of the Ioniq 6 will be equipped with a twin-engine unit with a capacity of 325 horsepower and 605 Nm of torque, from which it will be able to accelerate to a hundred in 5.1 seconds. The claimed range of the WLTP cycle is 610 kilometers.

The Hyundai Ioniq 6 electric streamliner, pictured at the end of June, has now been declassified completely. It was created based on the Prophecy concept and boasts a streamlined body with an air resistance coefficient of Cd 0.21. The onboard network of the electric car operates at a voltage of 800 volts and provides charging from 10 to 80 percent in 18 minutes. The car consumes from 14 kilowatt-hours per 100 kilometers. The claimed range of the WLTP cycle is 610 kilometers.

The basis of the “six”, as well as other “Ionics”, is the “trolley” Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP). The length, width, and height of the electric car are 4855, 1880, and 1495 millimeters, respectively. In size, it is close to the Kia Optima. The wheelbase is 2950 millimeters.

The initial battery has a capacity of 53 kilowatt-hours, and the optional long-range is 77.4. Buyers will be offered options with rear and all-wheel drive, including a top-end twin-engine system with a capacity of 239 kilowatts (325 hp) and 605 Nm and acceleration to “hundreds” in 5.1 seconds.

Two paired 12-inch screens will be placed on the front panel. Electric car navigation is able to plan a route taking into account the need for charging and will tell you how far you can go with the current state of the battery. The four dots on the steering wheel are the letter “H” encoded in Morse code. They glow when the machine is connected to a current source.
