Hennessey made 1000-hp Corvette ZR1 1

The American tuning studio Hennessey Performance, which has made a name for itself in the creation of super-powerful modifications on the basis of American cars of different classes, has presented its new project. As the initial model the specialists from Texas took the Chevrolet Corvette coupe not the last generation C8, but already removed from the production car of the C7 generation. The base version is the most powerful ZR1, which was made even more extreme in terms of parameters.

The standard 6.2-liter compressor V8 rated at 765 hp with the help of HPE 850 and HPE 1000 modification packages can be brought to 850 and 1000 hp respectively. The HPE 850 variant equips the car with a new intake system, valve springs, push rod rods, and an upgraded cylinder head.

The HPE1000 package adds a new mechanical supercharger to the equipment list. Among other things, the package includes a rebuild of the eight-speed automatic transmission, a new sports exhaust system, and a number of other tweaks that make for an impressive increase in power from the LT5 family unit.

“Although production of the Chevrolet C7 Corvette ZR1 has come to an end, tuning programs are still relevant! Hennessey Performance is proud to offer power enhancement packages for this sports car on the LT5 platform,” the studio notes. The company offers a three-year warranty for all modifications.
