The Genesis X Speedium large electric coupe has made its debut in New York, which should give an idea of the South Korean brand’s future models.

Genesis (Hyundai’s premium brand) unveiled the X Speedium Coupe concept car at a special event in New York. The novelty should give an idea of the future production cars of the South Korean brand, which will gradually start abandoning internal combustion engines in favor of electric units.

The new car is a further development of the Genesis X Concept prototype concept shown in April 2021. One of the main external features of the X Speedium Coupe was the absence of the traditional radiator grille, which is not necessary for fully electric cars. That said, the place where it should be is emphasized by white LED lines running along the entire front of the body.

Plus, the Genesis X Speedium Coupe differs from last year’s concept car in its overall silhouette with a longer roof and a redesigned stern that makes the car look more like a “Shooting Brake” station wagon.

There is no data about the serial release of such a car yet. However, it is known that by 2030 Genesis is planning to become an all-electric brand whose lineup will consist of at least six models.
