Genesis has presented the final concept of the so-called “X trilogy” – the convertible X Convertible. No technical data is given, it is only known that the X Convertible is an open version of the X Speedium Coupe prototype with a folding roof, so the differences between them are minimal. The convertible, in addition to the convertible top, is made in a more restrained style, for example, the design of the wheel arches and discs looks less aggressive than that of the coupe.
The main feature of the convertible is clean and smooth lines, branded double stripes of taillights, in harmony with the same stripes on the sides. The concept has a rigid folding top with two transparent sections located above the driver and passenger.

The interior repeats the one that the X Speedium coupe had, which debuted last summer: the interior combines Giwa Navy leather in an unusual way and environmentally friendly wool fabric. The finish is complemented with orange accents.
Neither the Convertible X Convertible nor the X Speedium coupe will have a serial incarnation, and perhaps that is why Genesis does not focus on the technical stuffing of the concepts. The only thing that is known about their power plant is that it is completely electric.
Future Genesis electric cars borrow from the concepts only some stylistically adapted solutions for mass production. In the meantime, there are three “first wave” electric models in the brand’s model line – GV60, Electrified G80, and Electrified GV70.
