The Ford F-Series is celebrating its diamond anniversary in 2023. In honor of its workhorse, Ford decided to create a special line of “Heritage Edition” two-tone pickup trucks to commemorate the 75th anniversary.

Conceived as a modern take on the two-tone body paint schemes that Ford offered on its pickups in the last century, the automaker will offer the new special edition in five color combinations. Motorists will be able to choose from the following colors: Rose Red, Atlas Blue, Antimatter Blue, Avalanche, or Area 51. These will be combined with the roof and lower sections painted in either Carbon Grey or Agate Black.

The darker colors will not only be on the roof and struts, but also on the bumpers, lower door, and lower body sections.

“Indeed, the recent wave of older trucks painted by dealers has done the same thing, and the brighter color serves to emphasize the vehicle’s proportions rather than hide them, as gray and black do. Without the brighter options, these pickups don’t seem so retro.”

However, Ford customers may disagree, and those who do will get the interior in slate gray and black. At the same time, the clear seat upholstery has unique inlays and embossing on the console lid, further enhancing the Heritage design. To top it off, a white “75 Years” logo can be found at the top of the center windshield and is included in the center screen launch animation.

Prices have not yet been disclosed, but they will become known when order banks open in mid-July. Production of the 2023 F-150 Heritage Edition will begin this fall.
