The new Huawei AITO M7 2022 was presented in China. The hybrid crossover is already available for order online. In just 4 hours, 20,000 of these cars were sold at a price from 319,800 to 379,800 yuan ($47 800 – 56 700). This is reported by the official website of Huawei ETS.
Like all cars of the AITO family, the M7 was developed jointly by Huawei and Seres. The abbreviation AIDA stands for Adding Intelligence to Auto (“Adding intelligence to cars”). So far, the M7 is sold in China, but next year its export to other countries will start.
The new AITO M7 has a restrained design with a high hood and a wide grille. This is the largest car from Huawei, and it has become the flagship in the model range.
Dimensions of Huawei AITO M7 2022:
Length – 5020 mm
Width – 1945 mm
Height – 1775 mm
Wheelbase – 2820 mm
The crossover is a six-seater, and the seats of the first two rows received heating, ventilation, and message. The multimedia system with a large 15.6-inch display and 1000-watt acoustics, of course, was developed by Huawei specialists. The equipment also includes leather trim, a virtual instrument panel, and an electric drive of the front seats.
Electric motors for the AITO M7 in Huawei were also created on their own. In the basic rear-wheel-drive version there is one 272-horsepower engine, and in the top all-wheel-drive version there are two of them, with a total power of 449 hp. Acceleration to 100 km / h takes 7.8 and 4.8 seconds, respectively.
The battery with a capacity of 40 kWh provides a power reserve of 195 km in the single-engine version and 165 km in the twin-engine version.
Gasoline 1.5-liter four Series 125-HP does not rotate the wheels, but only acts as a generator – generates electricity. Fuel consumption in hybrid mode is 6.9 l/100 km for the rear-wheel-drive version and 7.5 l/100 km for the all-wheel-drive version. A tank of gasoline will be enough for 1000-1100 km.
