Japanese doctors are currently fighting for the life of the pilot of the F.C.C. TSR Honda France team, Gino Rea, after a big accident at a free practice in Suzuka.

The Londoner had an accident after qualifying for the Superpole – TOP-10 Trial, at a free practice organized before the start of Suzuka 8 Hours.

After the fall, the unconscious rider was evacuated from the track to the hospital by helicopter, since then nothing has been known about his condition. The team did not report any news.

But independent journalists found out that the situation is really extremely difficult: Gino received a severe blow to the chest; his ribs are broken, and there is also information about lung damage and serious head contusion. Doctors have already done one urgent operation, and a second one was required.
