Ferrari CEO Benedetto Vigna will announce the plans and outline the automaker’s strategy for electric vehicles. Vigna will talk in detail about the company’s business plan for the next four years, which should include the launch of the first electric car in 2025. Initially, Ferrari planned to introduce its first electric car sometime after 2025, but at the beginning of 2021, this schedule changed.

“A few months after the launch of the electric car, Ferrari announced that it had appointed Vigna as its new CEO, who had worked in the technology industry for decades.”

He spent 26 years at STMicroelectronics, and it is this experience that Ferrari hopes will help the company navigate an electrified future. Earlier this year, Vigna announced major changes to the company’s organizational structure.
