Exclusive Pagani supercar for $17 million was smashed in an unfortunate accident

A very rare Pagani Zonda HP Barchetta was involved in an accident in Croatia. There are only three such supercars, and it is one of the most expensive models of our time – it costs $17 million. This is reported by the Motor1 website.

The accident happened in the Croatian capital Zagreb during a supercar rally. Judging by the video, the Pagani Zonda supercar skidded in a corner, even though the road was dry, and the speed was relatively low. He hooked an inexpensive Ford Ka hatchback.

The Pagani Zonda HP Barchetta has a seriously damaged rear end – the wheel is torn out, and the lights and part of the fender are missing. You can also see that the car was hit with the front fender as well. Repair of the carbon-fiber supercar will be very expensive.

The HP Barchetta convertible is the most powerful and expensive version of the Pagani Zonda. The car is equipped with a 7.3-liter 800-horsepower V12 produced by Mercedes-AMG and is capable of reaching a speed of over 350 km/h.

For a while, the Pagani Zonda HP Barchetta was even the most expensive new car in the world, but then it yielded this title to the Bugatti La Voiture Noire supercar and the Rolls-Royce Boat Tail convertible.

By the way, this is not the most expensive accident of the year. Earlier, a one-of-a-kind 1962 Ferrari 250 GT Breadvan worth $30 million crashed in France.
