The participants of the Extinction Rebellion organization held another radical eco-campaign, during which they poured black paint on red Ferraris 328, 360, and 430, exhibited at the Paris Motor Show stand. In addition, some members of the group have glued themselves to supercars.

The participants visited the car dealership to express their protest against the “individual car model”. After several activists doused supercars with black paint and glued themselves to the cars, other activists hung a banner over the cars with the inscription “Global Self-destruction”.

Eco-activists said that the automotive industry accounts for 15 percent of all greenhouse gas emissions in France. The group members call automakers the main culprits of climate change.

In September last year, German eco-activists sued BMW and Mercedes-Benz. Participants stated that automakers are not doing anything to reduce harmful greenhouse gas emissions.
